The Practice
Founded in 2008, Nick Hancock Design studio is an architectural design practice that builds on the broad international experience of its founding member, Nick Hancock, to create exceptional buildings and structures.
Although the practice is still in its first year and comprises three staff, it has already achieved considerable success and is collaborating with some of the UK’s leading architects and engineers. Among these early successes are:
- A bridge design competition entry, the Flying Bridge came second place in an international RIBA competition in October 2008.
- Nick Hancock Design Studio is currently overseeing the design development and project management of a high-class residential project in Singapore on behalf of Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners
- The Beeches,a state-of-the-art home that is aiming for an exceptional level of energy efficiency and sustainability
- Highfield, a luxury home set in stunning gardens, combining a period façade with modern interiors
